Sporting camps are a way of life in the North Maine Woods. For over a century eager sportsman and vacationers have traveled to the North Maine Woods to embrace the wonders of nature. Sporting Camps eventually evolved to provide the conveniences of living at home in a remote location. Travel with us to Northern Piscataquis County for the day to learn about the history of Bradford Camps, from owners Karen and Igor Sikorski, while being treated to a sit down lunch in their wilderness lodge. Trip will depart from the Caribou Wellness and Recreation Center at 8:00am and return by 5:00pm. Upon arrival we will break for a sit down lunch, included with fee. Minimum of six people required to pre-register with a committed fee of $40.00 by 4:00pm September 28, 2012. Trip is reserved for individuals over the age of 55. Rain Date October 17, 2012.
