Guided Day Trip to Explore Trains on the Allagash Wilderness Waterway.

This trip has a scheduled rain date of September 30, 2012. Located in the heart of the Allagash Wilderness Waterway is an outdoor museum commemorating the history of the North Maine Woods area. Join us for the day as we travel to the waterway, hike into the trains, and explore the artifacts of the logging era that once occurred in the area around Chamberlain and Eagle Lakes. Trip will depart from the Caribou Wellness and Recreation Center at 8a.m. and Return by 6pm. Bag lunch required. Minimum of six people required to pre-register with a committed fee of $25.00 by 4:00pm September 14, 2012. Program is restricted to individuals between the ages of 18-55 in excellent shape. Rain date September 30, 2012.
