On Wednesday, April 3rd, 2013 at 6:00 p.m., at The Northeast Harbor Library, Gary Allen will talk about his three week, 50 mile a day run. Allen started his run on January 7, 2013 from the summit of Cadillac Mountain and ended on the Capitol Steps in Washington D.C. on inauguration day. He called his adventure “Run for Good” and raised money for The American Cancer Society, The Wounded Warrior Project and The Sandy Hook Elementary School. Allen said, ”My goal when I started was to inspire one person and raise one dollar and to see what I would find? We have raised over $16,000 and have touched thousands of lives and what I found along the way was myself.”

The talk is free and open to the public and will be held in the Mellon Room.
