Free Rabies Clinic in Frankfort

The Waldo County Humane Society will hold a spring rabies clinic at the Frankfort Elementary School located at 112 North Searsport Road, Frankfort on Saturday, May 5, 2012 from 9:00 to 11:00am.

The rabies shot is free to animals residing in Waldo County. Pets from other counties are welcome, but a small fee will be charged. Please have all animals on leashes or in portable pet carriers.

Dr. Bennett Arble of Little River Veterinary Hospital will administer the rabies shot.

This clinic will also serve as a fundraising event for Miss Millie’s Cupboard, the Frankfort based food panty for domestic companion animals. Miss Millie’s Cupboard helps local families in need of assistance in feeding their pets. Donations of cat or dog food as well as any monetary donations would be gratefully accepted.

In addition to the rabies shots, coupon discounts towards the cost of having your pet spayed or neutered can be picked up at the clinic.
