Olympia Snowe – Maine’s longtime U.S. senator, former Congressman and former first lady – left office in January, but she’s back before the public with her book “Fighting for Common Ground: How We Can Fix the Stalemate in Congress.”

She’ll be at the Jesup Memorial Library to discuss the book on Thursday, June 27 at 4 p.m. Sherman’s Books, which is co-sponsor of the event, will be on hand with copies for sale and part of the proceeds from all books bought that day go to the Jesup.
