ORLAND, Maine — Great Pond Mountain Conservation Trust will celebrate 20 years of conservation in northwest Hancock County on Saturday, June 29, at Orland River Day, with events for the family and an appearance by Rep. Mike Michaud. Events include: alewife run 3.5-mile paddle from Craig Brook National Fish Hatchery to Orland Village, with one portage, in time for the parade;  fly-tying with Penobscot Fly Fishers, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.; parade, 10 a.m.; falconry with Larry Barnes, 10:30 a.m. Orland Methodist Church; 20th anniversary commemoration with Rep.
