As he guides the Laboratory in this new era of genomic medicine, a commitment to education will be a major focus. Dr. Liu will be sharing his experience from his education and career path, and what it has taught him about life. The free “Fireside Science” talks, held fireside in Roscoe’s, the Laboratory’s dining facility, are an opportunity to hear how the nonprofit biomedical research institution is affecting science, the future of human health and our community. Space is limited and preregistration is required; to register, visit www.jax.org/fireside or call 288-6340.
