Dr. Edison Liu, president and CEO of The Jackson Laboratory, is many things: a leader, a scientist and also an accomplished jazz pianist. In his words, “I am very fond of advancing the art-science convergence.” He will be sharing these ideas amidst an exhibition of other local artists from within and outside the Laboratory. The free “Fireside Science” talks, held fireside in Roscoe’s, the Laboratory’s dining facility, are an opportunity to hear how the nonprofit biomedical research institution is affecting science, the future of human health and our community. Space is limited and preregistration is required; to register, visit or call 288-6340.
