BAR HARBOR, Maine — Etiquette maven Emily Post drove cross-country through 13 states to the Golden Gate Bridge during an epic six-week journey in 1915. It was a time not many people had cars, and of those who drove women were few.

Marilyn Solvay shares this story with a slideshow and talk in honor of Women’s History Month on Thursday, March 7 at the Jesup Memorial Library in Bar Harbor beginning at 7 p.m.
