Author Michael Hill will speak on his new book “Elihu Washburne: The Diary and Letters of America’s Minister to France During the Siege and Commune of Paris.” Books will be available for sale. Hear about the remarkable and inspiring story of one of the original Livermore Washburn brothers—an American Diplomat who heroically aided his countrymen and other foreign nationals when Paris was devastated by war and revolution in 1870-71. $5 suggested donation.
