OLD TOWN, Maine — Stephen Madera and his furry friends invite the public to a dogsled adventure at 10 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 27, along Hirundo Wildlife Refuge trails. Make reservations by Friday, Jan. 25, by calling 944-9259.

Directions: From the south, take I-95 north to exit 197 to Old Town-Hudson. Turn left on Route 43 (Hudson Road). Go west 5.2 miles and look for the large red signs on the right. Take Gate 1 off Route 43; follow the dirt road for 0.5 miles to the Pine Tree parking lot. Meet at the Parker Reed shelter, which is farther on the left.
