Cheverus students to hold fundraiser to benefit school in Haiti

PORTLAND, Maine — The Cheverus High School Haiti Solidarity Club will host a Christmas  Tree and Wreath Sale 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 1-2, at the school, 267 Ocean Ave.

The trees and wreaths come from G & S Tree Farm in Bangor, Maine. Club members organized and will conduct the sale.

Proceeds from the fundraiser will be donated to a small grade school near Port-au-Prince, Haiti. The Haitian school is run by the Missionary Sisters of the Immaculate  Conception and is need of help.
