BAR HARBOR, Maine — On Tuesday, Feb. 26, College of the Atlantic presents the cello and guitar duo Tall Heights. The concert will be in the college’s Turrets Great Hall at 8 p.m.
The musicians, Tim Harrington and Paul Wright, have been performing throughout New England, as well as in the South By Southwest Music Festival in Austin, Tex, inviting comparisons to Crosby and Nash, as well as Arcade Fire. NPR reporter Megna Chakrabarti wrote, “Tall Heights’s delicate melodies and gentle harmonies create a rare public space where the people can slow down, even stop, and suspend the chaos of city life in exchange for some really great music.”
Their albums include “Rafters,” released in September 2011 and “The Running of the Bulls” an EP released last October.
