ELLSWORTH: Woodlawn, in partnership with Coastal K9 Consulting, LLC, is pleased to offer the Canine Good Citizen program June 6, 13, 20, and 27 from 6 to 7 pm.

The Canine Good Citizen (CGC) program is designed to reward dogs who have good manners at home and in the community. The program stresses responsible pet ownership for owners and basic good manners for dogs. All dogs who pass the 10-step CGC test will receive a Certificate of Completion which can be forwarded (with a small fee) to the American Kennel Club for an official certificate.

In this program, Coastal K9 Consulting will prepare you and your dog for the CGC test. The 4-evening program will be held Wednesdays, June 6, 13, 20, and 27 from 6 to 7 pm. The cost for the program is $150 for Woodlawn members/$160 for non-members. If you are thinking of getting a dog soon, the sessions can be audited without a dog for 50% of the cost. As space is limited, pre-registrations are required by calling Woodlawn at 667-8671. For more information, visit www.woodlawnmuseum.org. For more about the CGC program, visit the American Kennel Club website.

Woodlawn is a heaven for dogs and their owners and is pleased to partner with Coastal K9 Consulting. They have more than 50 years of working with dogs in every echelon, from family pet to police K9, and all ages from birth throughout all life stages of dogs. As an organization, Coastal K9 Consulting has invested countless thousands of hours aimed at improving lives, performances and relationships.
