Introduction to Self Employment:Tuesday September 11, 9:30 to 12:30, UMA-Bangor Campus

This one session workshop will help you decide if self employment is the right choice for you. We will cover the pros and cons of owning your own business, initial steps to take and the many resources available to help you succeed.

The Basics of Starting a Business:

Tuesdays September 18, 25 and October 2, 9:30 to 12:30, UMA-Bangor Campus

This nine hour class covers the basics of a business plan, marketing, cash planning and is suitable for those thinking about or in the start up phase of a new business. It will help you assess the feasibility, desirability, and viability of your business idea and get you started on your plan.
