Imagine daffodils, irises, and tulips in your house in March!

Woodlawn, in collaboration with UMaine Cooperative Extension Master Gardener Program, is delighted to offer an illustrated talk with Peggy Bowditch, a veteran bulb forcer. As part of her talk, Peggy will demonstrate the process of forcing hardy bulbs and show slides of many forced bulbs in flower. Participants will get handout sheets with information on bulbs that force well and those that don’t and suggested mail order sources for some that are not easy to find locally.

Peggy has been winning prizes at the Philadelphia Flower Show for years with her bulbs.

The program is free although, donations are appreciated. Please call Woodlawn at 667-8671 to reserve a seat.
