BUCKSPORT, Maine — Whether it’s the spooky or the sweet that you seek, Ghostport is the place for fall fun on Saturday, Oct. 19.

Timed to coincide with Fright at the Fort just across the bay, this Halloween-themed event offers something for all ages, from the children’s costume parade down Main Street, to the bone-warming chili cook-off, to “Jonathan Buck’s race to the Grave” coffin race.

Show off your creative skills in the carved pumpkin contest or skip the carving altogether and launch your pumpkin into the Penobscot using our trebuchet. After the sun sets, scare yourself undead at Fort Knox and then take our shuttle back to the waterfront to enjoy music, food and fireworks.

Thanks to the Friends of Fort Knox, Atlas Fireworks and WKIT, an epic fireworks display Synced to music and simulcast on Stephen King’s WKIT radio station will be enjoyed by all! Cap it all off by watching “An American in London” on the big screen again! Join us this October 19th for the fifth annual spook-tacular Ghostport festival in downtown Bucksport.
