Join Seth Benz, Director of the Schoodic Bird Ecology Lab, at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, at Schoodic Point, Acadia National Park, in Winter Harbor to identify and count birds as part of a nationwide effort. Dress warmly and bring binoculars if you have them. The outdoor portion (9:30-10:15 a.m.) is immediately followed by indoor slide presentation at Moore Auditorium on the SERC campus (10:30 a.m. to Noon). Come to one or both parts of this nationwide participatory citizen science event. Help create a real time snapshot of where the birds are. Free and open to the public; donations welcome at the door.
