BRUNSWICK, Maine — On Wednesday October 16 from 4 to 5:30, The Brunswick Inn will host Sally Loughridge – breast cancer survivor, visual artist, and retired clinical psychologist –  for a discussion of how imagination and creative power can help one weather a cancer diagnosis and treatment journey 4-5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 16 at the Inn.

In this illustrated talk during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, she will share her book, “Rad Art: A Journey Through Radiation Treatment,” (American Cancer Society, 2012) and explore other creative routes survivors use to find solace and strength. Signed copies of her book will be available for purchase, benefiting the American Cancer Society. Sally will also lead a walk-through of her art hanging in the Inn’s Carriage House.

Paintings purchased Oct. 16-31  will be discounted 10 percent, with a portion of proceeds donated to ACS.  Whether caregiver, professional, loved one, or survivor, anyone touched by cancer is invited. Refreshments will be served.  No charge, but RSVP appreciated: 729-4914 or info@TheBrunswickInn.com.
