BAR HARBOR, Maine — Bar Harbor nurse-midwife Linda Robinson will discuss the events behind her new book, “Sunday Morning, Shamwana: A Midwife’s Letters From the Field” at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 29, at Jesup Memorial Library. She will talk about about the year she spent working with a team from Doctors Without Borders in a remote part of Africa.
Books will be available for purchase. A part of the proceeds from the sale of the book will go to the library.
