The Eleventh Annual Peninsula Potters Studio Tour and Sale will be held Saturday and Sunday, October 12th and 13h from 10 am to 5 pm. The Blue Hill Peninsula is the place to be this weekend with the Peninsula Potters Tour working in conjunction with the Blue Hill Wine, Food and Foliage Festival. Plan to make a day of it and take in all the beauty this season has to offer along with a tour of the eight different studio locations where seventeen potters will be showing their wide ranging work. From folk art pots to the finest of porcelain vessels, there will be something of interest for everyone. This is a weekend to celebrate the art of making pottery with new work and special events at the studios.

The eight studio locations are: VKP Studio, Rackliffe Pottery, Mark Bell Pottery, R-Place Studio, Brooklin Pottery Co-op, Greene-Ziner Gallery, Bunzy Sherman the Potter, and Barbo Chapman Pottery.

A guide and tour map is available at many local businesses and at the Blue Hill, Deer Isle and Ellsworth Chambers of Commerce also online at www.peninsulapotters.com or email Melody Lewis-Kane at melody.lewiskane@gmail.com for information.
