As part of the 2013 Woodie Wheaton Land Trust Summer Speaker Series/Field Trips, Marion will be taking us on a guided tour where we will locate and identify many different species of birds.

Marion has been an avid birder for over 40 years and has spent much of her time learning new ways to identify and describe bird vocalizations. She also studies the habitat preferences of Northern Maine’s breeding birds, has done bird surveys for Baskehegan Company and Moosehorn National Wildlife Refuge, and has led many different tours for birding organizations.

Field trip is from 9am to 3pm (Please arrive by 8:45am to sign-in or call to reserve your space)

Bring your lunch/water, camera, and don’t forget your BINOCULARS!

Costs: $10/adults, $5/children

BRING THE WHOLE FAMILY: 4 or more $20
