Come to a Yard Sale Saturday, April 27, at Harmony Hall, 24 Kennebec Road, Hampden. The sale is to raise money for Hug It Forward to build a bottle school in Guatemala. Several people from SAD 22 will be participating in the yard sale and traveling to Guatemala to help build the school. Hours are 8 am to 2 pm.

Hug It Forward is a grass-roots organization that facilitates education and awareness by empowering communities in Latin America to build “bottle schools”.

Bottle schools are schools built using “eco-bricks”: plastic bottles stuffed with inorganic trash. Entire communities come together to make the dream of educational opportunity a reality, by building their own bottle school.
