Benefit supper planned for family of Ben Johnson

ORRINGTON, Maine — A spaghetti supper will be held 4:30-7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, at the Center Drive School to benefit the family of Ben Johnson. Johnson and his three children were killed in a fire recently at the family’s home in Orrington. Ben’s wife, Christine Johnson, survived the fire.

Admission to the supper is by donation, and attendees are asked to give whatever they can to support the Johnson family.

The benefit spaghetti supper will be provided through the efforts and sponsorship of the town of Orrington, Center Drive School, East Orrington Congregational Church, Sam’s Club and Hollywood Casino.

Those wish to give money to help the Johnson family may do so by sending a check to: Seaboard Federal Credit Union, c/o the Johnson Family Fund, Bucksport ME 04416.
