BELFAST, Maine — The Greater Belfast Area Ministerium will hold its annual Community Thanksgiving Service at 7 p.m.  Sunday, Nov. 18, at the First Baptist Church, 95 High St.

Attendees are asked to bring a food item to be donated to the Food Cupboard housed at the United Methodist Church on Mill Lane. An offering will be taken to benefit the Belfast Soup Kitchen.

The congregation of the First Baptist Church also will be celebrate the 175th anniversary of the building of the church structure.
