There is plenty in this world to be afraid of — we’ve just come through a Great Recession, North Korea says they’re preparing for war, there’s civil war in Syria and a mess in Mali, there are illness you may have and illnesses you may get, job insecurities, relationship difficulties, and the whole aging process. Yet our better angels tell us, “Be not afraid,” and the fourteenth century mystic Julian of Norwich wrote, “All shall be well.” And so the topic this Sunday is overcoming fear. Guest in the Pulpit: Rev. Mark Worth; Worship Associates: Laurie Cartier and Teddy Weston; Music: LyAnn Grogan.
