“Jamie Van Eyck has a beguilingly compelling voice.” – Fanfare Magazine
“The show-stealer was Chad Sloan.” – The Baltimore Sun
“Be not afeard – the isle is full of noises!” (The Tempest) Join boisterous baritone Chad Sloan (last year’s Figaro in The Barber of Seville) and glamorous mezzo Jamie Van Eyck as they revel in the history of Shakespeare’s influence on popular song. With the remarkable pianist Joseph Li at the keyboard, the trio journeys from John Dowland and Roger Quilter to Cole Porter and Bruce Springsteen. This gifted group of performers will spin magical musical memories into another beautiful Acadia evening during this one-night-only musical extravaganza!
