BANGOR, Maine — Fusion Bangor will be recognized with a public proclamation at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 26, for the work it has done to support the Bangor region and its young professionals. The event, at City Hall, is open to the public and community members are encouraged to attend.
Fusion Bangor is the area’s networking group of young residents. The organization works to connect the young demographic to each other, engage with the community and transform the Bangor region into the preferred place to live, work and play in Maine.
Over the past year, Fusion has hosted a number of networking and social events, including its Noontime Networks luncheon series, which hosted all three of Maine’s U.S. Senate candidates, and its Awards Extravaganza, which drew over 150 people to the Bangor Waterfront recently. Fusion also launched its Downtown Proud initiative at the beginning of this year, which works to sustain the attractiveness and vitality of downtowns in the Bangor region.
