In yet another fun fundraiser, Bangor area seniors are showing off their legs for a great cause. Drop by the Center any day from now until March 31st and check out their “Gallery of Gams”. Sixteen Contestants, including the Center’s beloved pet cat, Johnny, are showing off their legs and they need your votes! Peruse and choose your favorite pair of legs on display then cast your vote. Each vote is only 50 cents and proceeds benefit the many programs offered to area seniors at the Center.

Member Activities and Volunteer Coordinator, Kelly Gilks, says, “You would not believe some of the legs we have on display. Some are beautiful, some are funny, and others are just outrageous! You would not believe that these legs are all sixty years of age or older. And, we have almost as many men participating as women! This is not just a fundraiser, it is also a fun way to raise awareness of all that we do here at the Senior Center.”

To cast your vote, stop by the Center Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. from now until March 31st.
