Baby Fair offers bargains and car seat checks

For the second time this year, the Troy Howard Middle School gymnasium will be filled with an indoor sale of new and used children’s items on Saturday, October 6th, from 8:30 to 11:00 a.m. This year marks the fifth occurrence of a fall Baby Fair. The admission fee of $1 will once again benefit the Belfast Public Health Nursing Association to help local families in need. Children are admitted free. The Troy Howard Middle School is on 173 Lincolnville Avenue in Belfast.

Gently used baby and children’s clothes up to size 12, toys, books and furniture will be for sale, especially winter items. New items may also be available by local crafts people.

Dawn Bryant, EMT, of Waldo Community Action Partners, will offer free car seat inspections to check for durability and safety which is beneficial for new parents and grandparents.
