Cover Girl Culture offers an insider look into the teen fashion magazine industry, explores the impact the messages have on girls, and offers practical solutions for countering these messages. Julia Bluhm, a 14-year old from Waterville who led a petition that successfully convinced Seventeen magazine to take a pledge against digitally altering body sizes and face shapes, will tell her story and answer questions from the audience after the film.
