BAR HARBOR — Famed fisherman, boat captain, and author Linda Greenlaw will be at the Jesup Memorial Library on Thursday, July 18 to discuss her new book “Lifesaving Lessons: Notes From an Accidental Mother,” in an event co-sponsored by Sherman’s and set to begin at 7 p.m. Sherman’s will be on hand with books for purchase and part of the proceeds of all books bought that night go to the library. In her newest book, Ms. Greenlaw faces her greatest battle with nature yet – a newly adopted teenage daughter.
Ms. Greenlaw is the New York Times bestselling author of several books relating her career on the sea including “The Hungry Ocean,” “Seaworthy” and “The Lobster Chronicles,” plus two mystery novels and two cookbooks that she wrote with her mother, Martha Greenlaw.
