ELLSWORTH: Woodlawn is pleased to offer an Introduction to Wood Graining & Faux Finish workshop with artist Sember Lockwood on Friday, June 22nd, from 9 am to 4 pm.
In this hands-on workshop, participants will explore wood graining, crackle finish and tissue paper techniques in the morning and decorate a small object of their choice in the afternoon.
The workshop will be offered on Friday, June 22, from 9 am to 4 pm. The cost for this all day workshop is $95 for Woodlawn members and $105 for non-members and includes painting materials. Participants are asked to bring a bag lunch and a small wooden object to paint for the afternoon session. As space is limited, pre-registration is required by calling Woodlawn at 667-8671. There is a June 18 deadline to sign up.
Woodlawn is an educational, cultural, and recreational treasure for the people of Downeast ME. The main house opens for tours May 1st through October 31st.
