The ALPHA course returns to Community Church of the Open Door in Hampden on Monday, March 11th, 6-8:30PM, with an open invitation to anyone who wants to explore the basic principles of Christian faith in an open, relaxed, non-threatening atmosphere. Eight weekly sessions include a FREE dinner, DVD session, small group discussion, and childcare. Every question is valued, as you explore key topics including: Who is Jesus? Why did He die? How and why do people pray? Why do people read the Bible?

ALPHA began in London in the 1970s and has since welcomed millions of people in homes, work places, schools, churches, and military bases around the world. Whether you’re a curious guest, a life-long church-goer of any denomination, or a complete skeptic, ALPHA is an ideal place for you to explore the validity and relevance of the Christian faith in today’s world and your life.

Call or e-mail ALPHA class coordinators directly or visit CCOD online to register for the first session ONLY. There is NO COMMITMENT to attend further sessions. For more info, contact Dennis and Doreen Bradley (207-234-2395 or doryden@juno.com), or CCOD (207-862-4010 or www.lifeatopendoor.com). CCOD is located at 270 Main Road North/Rt 1A in Hampden. It is a non-denominational, Bible-based community of inclusive, intentional, and influential believers.
