The Knox County Community Health Coalition is collaborating with local law enforcement in offering Alcohol Seller Training sessions on November 15 and 16 from 8 AM to 12:30 PM. Session 1 is intended for retail sellers while session 2 targets the needs of on premise restaurants/bars. Frank Lyons of BC Consultants will present the training. Frank has spent 23 years in law enforcement and is a certified instructor at the Maine Criminal Justice Academy. Training will cover topics including: identifying minors, how alcohol works in the body, false ID detection. This training can prevent costly violations, instills confidence in servers, and saves on insurance rates. A certificate is issued at the end of the class.
