gWatson Gallery is hosting an Artist Reception for Alan Rushing, Friday, July 6, 5-7PM, in conjunction with Stonington’s First Night Art Walk.
Rushing has been featured in more than 50 solo and group shows all over the US, including Seattle and Boston. He holds an MFA in painting from the University of New Hampshire and has been the recipient of several fellowships, most recently a teaching fellowship in Ascoli Piceno, Italy.
Alan’s dynamic series of over more than 20 plein air paintings of Maine, range in size from 12×15 inches to 4×4 feet are currently on view through July 7.
