African Drumming Class

Drum in the woods! Local musician, Judy Nielsen, will be offering a beginning African drumming class at HVNC’s new education center. Judy is founding member of Innana, Sisters of Rhythm. The class will introduce the three hand positions and the basics of poly rhythm. Participants will be learn and play with vigor simple African rhythms. The class will meet every Thursday and culminate with a performance at HVNC Open House Sept. 30.
