This reading game is to introduce readers to different genres. The object of the game is to read ten books that are selected by drawing a card from the Gold Fish Bowl. The card will give the genre of a book but not a specific title. YOU then select a book from that genre. Place the genre card in the Fishing Creel. Only one card may be selected at a time. NO second dipping! Genres may include biographies, young adult fiction, children’s books, mysteries, romance, science fiction, fantasy, westerns, suspense and wholesome (Christian). The drawing is limited to one entry per person, BUT if you enjoy the game you can continue to play and complete additional reading passports.
