U.S.C.G.A. “About Boating Safely” Course

Darrell Gilman, U.S. Coast Guard Axillary, teacher. This ten hour course teaches specific laws and regulations, handling boating emergencies, safety practices, navigation rules, general boat maintenance and more. The last class is the exam for the Boating Safely Course Certificate. The course runs from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on June 11, 17, 18, 24 and 25. To register call 207-548-2529. At Penobscot Marine Museum’s Stephen Phillips Memorial Library, 11 Church Street, Searsport. The course is $40 for members and $50 for non-members.
