Winter Solstice Service to be conducted at Bangor church

BANGOR, Maine — The Rev. Louise Shorette of Jackson will be the guest preacher at worship service at 10 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 23, at the Unitarian Universalist Society of Bangor, 120 Park St. Shorette is an ordained priestess with the Temple of the Feminine Divine in Bangor, an environmentalist, social and community activist and artist. She will lead the congregation in a Winter Solstice service.

The choir and Women With Wings will sing.
