The Bangor Public Library will be hosting a quilting workshop led by Valerie Osborne. Participants will create a lap sized quit top in just one day, in the beautiful “Endless Summer” pattern. While the only colors of the quilt are blue and white, the contrast makes a stunning quilt. The class is free although participants will need to provide their own fabrics and sewing machines.

Valerie Osborne has been quilting for 22 years and has made around 100 quilts. While she was director at the Old Town Public Library she would hold quilt classes for her patrons. These were such a success that she ended up founding the Canoe City Quilters Guild, which meets regularly at Old Town High School.

Registration is required. Please email Sue at pr@bpl.lib.me.us to book a place or sign up at the front desk.
