In response to Bar Harbor, Maine’s recent decision to remove the perpetually lit tree memorial from the city’s Agamont Park, Wreaths Across America (WAA) will hold a patriotic salute to veterans and their families. The event will be a continuation of the honor that the tree and the lights stand for — a living memorial to soldiers of all faiths. Event activities include a ceremonial relighting of a new tree in Columbia Falls, Maine, a luncheon, a monument dedication, a live performance by Lee Greenwood and fireworks.
