The three-day drive seeks to collect food and gifts for Maine families during the Christmas

According to Thrasher, “All food and gifts collected by the Worship Radio Network will be given to families in need and distributed by Bread of Life Ministries during the holiday season.”

“Bread of Life Ministries is a local non-profit organization serving Mainers through a variety of family services. The Ministry has enjoyed a good history of working together with area churches and other charitable organizations in Maine. It is an organization dedicated to serving people in need,” said Lynn Hendshee, Case Manager with Bread of Life Ministries. “Our mission statement” she said, “is to feed the hungry, shelter the homeless, serve veterans in need and provide programs and opportunities that help people change their lives. God calls us to minister to one another and assist those in need.”

Donations of food for families and new gifts for children may be dropped off at the Worship Radio Network at 160 Riverside Drive in Augusta beginning Dec. 18.
