TRESCOTT, Maine — Go birding “Way Down East” over Memorial Day Weekend, Friday, May 24 to Monday, May 27, in Maine’s Cobscook Bay Area.

Bird watch in Moosehorn National Wildlife Refuge, Roosevelt Campobello International Park, Shackford Head, Quoddy Head State Park and other wildlife areas.

The Down East Spring Birding Festival offers birders self-guided explorations as well as guided hikes, boat tours (including a puffin trip to Machias Seal Island), and presentations by area experts. See a variety of birds in special habitats during spring migration and the breeding season including Atlantic puffins, bald eagles, nesting waterfowl and many others. Hikes, boat trips and presentations for advanced, intermediate, and beginning birders.
