Writing Workshop on the Penobscot River

Exercise your head and your body with a writing workshop paired with a nature walk. Join Cheryl Daigle and Holly Twining as they explore the Penobscot River and discover how fish and wildlife are already benefiting from the river restoration project! Enjoy writing exercises and field observations. Cheryl is the community liaison and outreach coordinator for the Penobscot River Restoration Trust and her writing has appeared in Orion magazine and numerous wildlife and conservation publications. Holly, a naturalist with Maine Audubon, will guide the walk.

Location: Veazie Riverside Park

Sunday, November 17, 1-4:00 p.m.
