ELLSWORTH, Maine — Woodlawn will team up with Coastal K9 Consulting LLC, to offer several Dog Training Series this summer. The first series will be held 6-8 p.m. Wednesdays in May, beginning May 2. A second series will be held in the fall. Participants will learn the most effective, positive methods to teach their dog to walk or run on a loose leash. Other topics will include dog aggression, training dogs to come when called, and teaching dogs the sit and stay command.

The cost for each session is $80 Woodlawn members, $90 others. For those who are thinking of getting a dog soon, the sessions can be audited without a dog for 50 percent of the cost.
