Maine Prep’s SAT prep classes for Bangor area high school students will meet from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. every Sunday and Wednesday, January 22 through March 5, to prepare students for the March 8, 2014 SAT test.
The 8-session course, designed to teach students strategies to use in the math, writing and reading sections of the SAT, will meet at the O’Donnell Commons on the Husson University campus, 1 University Circle, Bangor. The teachers are Dr. Frank Hubbard and Irene Haskins of Husson University.
Maine Prep was founded to help Maine students raise SAT scores, boost their admission chances, and qualify for merit scholarships.
Maddie High, Brown ’15 says, “Maine Prep’s unique approach to the SAT and ACT tests helped me to overcome my test-taking anxiety and to fulfill my potential. The result was a 300+ point increase in my SAT scores and my consequential admittance to Brown University, my first choice.”
