BAR HARBOR, Maine — Dawn Lamendola of House Wine in Bar Harbor will give a session on the “whys” of wine, at 7 p.m. Friday, April 4, at the Jesup Memorial Library, 34 Mount Desert St. in Bar Harbor.

She’ll cover some basic information about styles, secrets of the label, storage, and buying with confidence then builds on that with more specific in-depth information. Ever wonder what it really means that a chardonnay “has a lot of oak”? Come hear the answer then taste the difference for yourself. Dawn will offer a tasting as part of this session at the Jesup.

You bring your questions, we’ll serve the wine – and we’ll all have a terrific time. This program is free and open to the public.
