CAMDEN, Maine — A. Flint Decker, president, designated broker of The New England Real Estate Co., has announced that Sandy Cox of Windjammer Realty will join The New England Real Estate Co. as of March 1.
“We are extremely pleased and proud to welcome Sandy to our company. His dedication to his clients and his community, as well as his outstanding service and integrity, is a perfect and complementary fit with The New England Real Estate Co. We look forward to his leadership within our company as we grow,” said Decker.
A lifelong resident of Camden, Cox was an executive at MBNA before beginning his real estate career in 2003 with Greene Keefe Real Estate. He next worked with Jaret & Cohn Real Estate before opening his own company in 2005: The Windjammer Realty Company. Cox obtained the No. 1 position in the Midcoast area for residential units sold in 2005 and still holds the honor of that position.
“I am excited to be joining Flint Decker at The New England Real Estate Co. to help bring a new level of real estate marketing and services to Midcoast, Maine,” said Cox.
“One of our main initiatives will be to create a new website, designed to allow our customers easier interactions with our company through simple searching programs. In time, we will hire additional brokers who will operate with our new mobile office technology platform. All of our agents will conduct business using the newest tablet technology from any location our clients want to meet. This is an exciting level of exceptional service for our customers,” said Cox.
Cox’s dedication to preserving Midcoast Maine’s quality of life was the prompt for his extensive community service over the years including serving on the Camden Zoning Board of Appeals for eight years, five years as a director of the Penobscot Area YMCA and past Treasurer and past President of the Midcoast Board of Realtors. He also has served as president of the Rockland Golf Club for six years as an active board member.
Cox is president of Camden’s West Bay Rotary Club, director of the Pen Bay Chamber of Commerce and resides in Camden with his wife, Michelle.
The New England Real Estate Company is located at 2 Bay View St. in Camden and this highly visible real estate office location has proven to have the highest number of walk-in customers and traffic of any agency in the midcoast area and provides excellent convenience for clients and the public, being in the center of town on Route 1.
