The Eagle Hill Institute invites members of the public to view the wonders of the night sky through its recently donated large telescope beginning on Friday, March 8 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
The viewing portion of the evening will begin just after sunset and will be preceded by an astronomy lecture or film and an optional pizza dinner ($10). Attendees are encouraged to bring their own binoculars and small telescopes.
Viewing evenings will be held on every clear Friday during the months of March, April, and May. In the event of overcast skies or inclement weather, Eagle Hill will host an evening of astronomy films, lectures, and activities.
The Eagle Hill Institute is located at 59 Eagle Hill Road in Steuben. For additional information on Eagle Hill’s public astronomy programs, please call 546-2821 ext. #207 or email email@example.com.
